Contactor membranes: innovation in the management of gases throughout winemaking process. Focus on O2 and S compounds
Consumers’ demand for fresh and fruity wines with defined identities has been growing. The use of contactor membranes with the goal of managing gases throughout the winemaking process is a very promising trend and was approved by the OIV in 2013. The use of such membranes allows the winemaker to minimize two main issues: oxidation and reduction of wine.
